Handyman Tiling Services – Professional Tile Installation Work.

In March 2017 there are a huge number of home and apartment owners in inner west Sydney that are undergoing renovations. More often than not, the ‘priority’ in any renovation or certainly at the top of many home owners ‘wish list’ is an upgrade or totally new bathroom or kitchen. This invariably will require the installation of new tiles – generally both floor tiles and wall tiles and this is where we can assist in the installation of them.

Tiling is a skill that requires precision and accuracy and a thorough knowledge of gluing, cutting, preparation and grouting is required. We have wet saws available to cut the hardest porcelain tiles. These tiles are often used on floors where strength and hard wearing is required, as well as great visual appearance. It is popular in inner western Sydney to tile balconies and pathways in traditional federation style patterns and we can do this work to a high standard.

Gutter Cleaning

Sydney has endured an incredibly wet period over the last 3 months coupled with wild winds. Many houses now find that there gutters are overflowing due to them being blocked by leaves, twigs and debris from the storms we have endued over this period. There are many instances where overhanging trees can drop small seeds and even berries that accumulate in gutters creating a thick ‘sludge, that, over time create sever blockages to the free flow of rain water. We can expertly clean your guttering out to ensure that they operate as they should. People often underestimate the importance of having correctly operating guttering. We have seen instances where clients have had water coming down their lounge room walls because their guttering is blocked to the point that water can no longer run along them. Likewise, if water runs down the walls of a home for extended periods of time, rather than running along gutters and then down pipes and into the storm water system, then damage to the house can occur over time. The purpose of gutters and down pipes is to keep rain away from the home. If gutters are not regularly maintained than this function can fail and damage to a property can occur. There are a number of excellent, modestly prices gutter ‘guard’ systems available that we can install into your guttering, that will prevent the majority of leaves, seeds from trees and other debris from accumulating in your guttering. This decreases the amount of maintenance required on guttering systems and can prolong the life span of it.
